Jay's Cafe: Dinner & Photography Exhibit

My friends Jane and Jerilynn and I hung a series of photographs at Jay's Cafe and he was also starting to serve dinner. This was a postcard announcing both events.

Charly's Super South Dakota Shots

My lovely friend Charly took these beautiful photographs on our camping trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota. I believe she has a very artistic nature (she wouldn't necessarily agree). She is very creative and I just had to share these shots with the masses. Super job Charly!

Black Hills of South Dakota

I didn't take a lot of photos on my camping trip to the Black Hills and I don't fancy myself a wildlife photographer but these shots turned out quite nicely.

Happy Independence Day weekend!

Jay's Cafe: Leaf Print Ads

I did several ad's for Jay's Cafe based on this Leaf print by Jay. I'm very pleased with the last two ads.

Black and white City Pages ad

Black and white Bugle ad (notice the little waiter graphic) The bugle is a little neighborhood newspaper and Jay felt that the graphic was still necessary here.

Another version for an upgraded ad for City Pages with some color.

Full color ad for a special City Pages Dining Guide. Which was an glossy insert.

Jay's Cafe: 2 City Pages Ads

This was a really fun project because Jay gave me the opportunity to completely revamp the style of his ads. If you remember the earlier Bugle ad I posted there was a waiter graphic that Jay wanted to move away from in the ads for the City Pages I was able to remove the graphic completely. The photographs used in most of Jay's ads were taken by Jay himself. I believe we used the black version of this ad.
